Rest Day

Most of our rest day was spent with feet up resting surprisingly! Those of us with family out here did manage to get out for a couple of hours to see them. I met up with Mum and Dad and in the short time we had together we managed to get a sight of the whole of Melbourne - from the Rialto Viewing Tower the tallest tower in the southern hemisphere apparently. We also had the pleasure of a family portrait with Dame Kelly Holmes. We were just buying a juice smoothie when I had a tap on my shoulder and Kelly Holmes introducing herself to me. We had a chat about the hockey and then Mum proceeded to chat about the Ice Dancing Competition with her, Mum was in her element!
